What do I do if my Welcome Box doesn’t arrive, or arrives damaged?
We ship all our products with a tracking number. If you do not receive your Welcome Box in one week, please let us know. If there is any damage to the package, let us know as soon as possible.
Is the training only available during normal business hours?
No. One great perk of this program is that it is always available to you! Weekends, after hours, holidays- you work on your schedule. If you need assistance, we are available Monday through Friday.
What does the Service Certification program entail?
This program has 12 sections, each consisting of 5-7 individual modules. Each module ends with a small quiz, and each section ends with a review test. At the end of all 12 sections, you will have a final exam that will test your knowledge and understanding of what you’ve learned.
How long does it take?
The program will take a minimum of six months, up to a year. There are twelve sections, each containing 5-7 modules. At most, you could complete two sections per month.
Do I have to be on any live webinars or meetings?
Nope! All of the modules are pre-recorded and are available to complete at your own pace, whenever you can find the time. Any future live events will not be mandatory.
How many hours should I plan per month?
We estimate that each module will take 20-30 minutes to complete. This would equate to about 3.5-4 hours per month.
Is the program easy?
The program is meant to be intensive, similar to an Associate’s degree. Between the modules, testing, and coursework, there is over 40 hours of material to cover. You will also have to spend time implementing these processes and ideas into your dealership, which will take additional time. Achieving Service Manager Certification takes hard work and dedication, but when you’re done, you will be among the best of the best.
How much does it cost?
The investment is $1295 for one year. This includes a year of access to our Dealer Classroom, an online learning system with all of the modules, quizzes, and tests. You have access to the Certification Coordinator, who is available to answer any questions you may have. You also receive a Welcome Box, which includes your workbook and other materials to help you along the journey. Also included is a free DISC assessment, to help you better understand yourself and better lead your team.
What is the final exam like?
The final exam is a written test with scenario questions to test what you’ve learned. You will be presented with a situation and you’ll explain how you would solve it. It is an intensive test and will take an hour to complete. It will be evaluated by our experts to determine if you pass or fail.
What if I need help?
Our Certification Coordinator is available if you need help with anything – trouble logging into the website, how to deal with a difficult employee, or if you need help understanding the recovery rate. We’re here for you!
